Interim Pastor: Rev. Jospeh Seese
- Born & raised in McHenry, IL, a small town in northern Illinois
- Graduate of Judson University (class of 1977) in Elgin, Illinois; BA degree in Fine
Arts/Music/Vocal Performance - Graduate of Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (class of 1999) in Pittsburgh, PA; Masters of
Divinity Degree - Previously pastored churches in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and West Virginia for a total of 25 years
- Married to wife Debbie for 51-plus years
- 4 children: 2 daughters and 1 son married; 7 grandchildren
- “second career” minister: spent 20 years in retail management prior to entering ministry
- Between my retail work and pastorates – have lived in 6 different states (several multiple times)
- a member of the John Maxwell Leadership Team, specializing in leadership development throughout the world
- Retired from full-time ministry and moved to New Bern in 2024
- Hobbies/Recreational enjoyment: Family time, Music, Fishing, Golf, Reading, Cheering for the
Pittsburgh Steelers - Ministry Joys: 1) seeing people discover that Christianity is more than just a religion; that it is a
personal relationship with the one true living God; 2) as a transitional interim pastor, I enjoy
helping churches get “unstuck”
